I’m looking for Romance, Romantasy, and Commercial or Speculative Fiction, Horror, Paranormal, and select Mystery / Thriller. In Romance, I’m drawn to morally gray characters who make you question your own sense of right and wrong but I also swoon over big romantic gestures and enduringly sweet HEAs. I would love to see Horror or speculative novels with a feminist bent. Retellings or reimagines that bring a fresh perspective to the genre or villainous characters you can’t help but root for. In Mystery / Thriller, I’m particularly interested in BIPOC stories by authors who share those identities. In all genres, I prefer voicey books with darker themes, clear stakes, a hook that grabs you immediately. If there is a romantic subplot, even better! I'm not interested in books that romanticize abuse or feature on-page sexual assault or domestic violence.
